Vault Games November Newsletter
Happy Kung Fu Appreciation Month! For the ENTIRE month of November, Vault of Midnight is appreciating the precious gift to the world that is Kung Fu. We'll be watching a bunch of classic titles every Sunday night, featuring comics and sundries related to the genre, talking about Kung Fu, like, all the time, AAAAANNND playing appropriately themed board games. T'will be dope. I encourage you all to do yourselves a favor, get in The Spirt, and watch some movies immediately if not soon. Recommendations available upon request.
Furthermore, the board game industry is gearing up for the holidays. THIS YEAR, for once, many very good games are available in advance of the season. The following has just been released or re-released:
- Twilight Struggle (currently the #1 rated game on boardgamegeek.com)
- Labyrinth: The War on Terror
- Pandemic (!!! back after a SIX MONTH absence !!!)
- 7 Wonders
- Kingdom Builder (New from the designer of Dominion)
- Blood Bowl: Team Managers (Wow, this game is really good)
- Urban Sprawl (New from GMT games! I'm excited about this one)
- And Several Others
So there. As always, you can play these and hundreds of other titles by visiting us for a Game Night/Afternoon. Give us a call or send an email for more info or to schedule a demonstration of (practically) any game in our inventory.

- November 3 - Kung Fu Fighting - A renaissance themed worker placement excursion, wherein players take on the roles of Parisian grout cleaners in the service of the Valois-Angouleme branch of French royalty. Naw, I'm just playin - s'about kung fu fighting.
- November 10- Munchkin Fu - Munchkin! While no one was paying attention, Steve Jackson Games has created enough Munchkin titles to launch into space and block out the sun over most of the continental United States. He should be stopped, perhaps. At any rate, Munchkin Fu is one of those titles.
- November 17- Ghost Stories w/Black Secret Expansion - Here it is. The sweetest one of all. Taoist Monks battling Wu Feng, the lord of Hell, and all his minions. This game freaking rocks. Easily the hardest cooperative game I've ever played. And so kung-fu-y. Plus with the new expansion! Which is cool!
- November 24 NO GAMES! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
FURTHERMORE:
- SALESALESALE! We've set up a pretty kick-ass selection of discounted games. Come by and check them out before they are all snatched up. Discounts as high as 40% Off for some pretty great games.
