Captain Marvel Premiere & Fundraiser

  • Celebration! Cinema North GRAND RAPIDS 2121 Celebration Dr NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525 USA (map)

In honor of Women’s History Month, Vault of Midnight is thrilled to be hosting a Captain Marvel film premiere and fundraiser for Girls Rock! Grand Rapids on Saturday, March 9th at Celebration Cinema North, theater 14.

Captain Marvel is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first female-led superhero film. Starring Brie Larson, the film follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.  Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the MCU. The film is rated PG-13; all ages are welcome and parental guidance is suggested.

Girls Rock! Grand Rapids is a volunteer group of women dedicated to empowering girls and women through music and is a program of Grandville Avenue Arts & Humanities. All ticket proceeds will go directly to GR!GR to support their music summer camp, so settle in for our most-anticipated Marvel movie of 2019 while also supporting a great cause!

Girls Rock! band Calling Shotgun will perform a live set on stage at 7pm prior to the film! Showtime is 7pm sharp, with no previews beforehand. Let’s do this!

Tickets can be purchased at Vault of Midnight Grand Rapids, online at vaultofmidnight.com, or at the Cook Arts Center (a facility run by Grandville Avenue Arts & Humanities).
