We are very proud to host a roster of creators featured at Detroit's own MECCAcon. The phenomenal writers and artists will be posting up at Vault of Midnight Detroit for an evening of signings, chats, knowledge, comic-talk.
MECCAcon is the Midwest Ethnic Convention for Comics and Arts, focused on celebrating culturally diverse creators, characters, and art of every distinction. Maia Crown Williams, CEO and Founder of MECCAcon has said that "it is my mission to make sure that children know that all “heroes” do not look the same, that many actually look just like them." MECCAcon is the Midwest's largest ethnic comic book convention, and we're so excited to be a part of it this year.
Our schedule is as follows:
4pm-5pm Kim Eggleston, creator of Dead by Wednesday and Combat Jacks; Ronald Nelson, co-creator and artist of (H)afrocentric
